Cookie policy
Updated 27 October 2026
This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage on mwvocalist.com, which I run as Mark Walton Vocalist. Cookies are small files saved by your browser; local storage remembers information on this device without sending it automatically with every request.
Your choice
Essential security and session features operate so you can use the website safely. Google Analytics is optional: its script is not loaded until you accept analytics. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent browsing, playing our videos, contacting me or requesting a booking. Closing your browser or continuing to browse is not treated as consent.
You can accept or reject analytics in the cookie widget, or choose it in Manage preferences. Cookie preferences in the footer reopens those settings at any time. Turning analytics off stops further collection by this site's Analytics tag and removes accessible Analytics cookies for this domain. It does not delete information already collected by Google. Your choice is specific to this browser and device.

Analytics and third parties
My Google Analytics measurement ID is G-0V5HEGKS9L. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google Signals are disabled in our tag. I do not deliberately send booking-form fields, names, email addresses or private contract links to Analytics; URLs sent by our configuration exclude query strings and fragments. The tag is excluded from the private diary, contract pages and staging site.
With analytics consent, we also count accepted booking requests, successfully sent contact forms and clicks on phone, email or WhatsApp links. A link click records an intention to contact Mark, not a completed call or confirmed booking. These custom events use fixed labels; they do not include your contact details, venue, event date, message or receipt code.
Google processes analytics and security information under its service terms and privacy information. This can involve processing outside the UK, including the United States. Read Google's privacy policy, Google's cookie information and reCAPTCHA information. Contact me for information about the provider arrangements used for your data.
My audio and video files are hosted by this website: playing them does not load a YouTube, Vimeo or social-media embed. Social links open the third party's own website, where its policies apply. I do not enable advertising or social-media tracking cookies through this widget.
Clearing storage and withdrawing consent
You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser. Clearing your saved choice will cause the widget to ask again. Blocking essential storage may stop secure forms or diary sign-in from working. If you withdraw analytics consent, it also applies to other open tabs of this site in the same browser.
